WMF Technical Committee
Dedicated to advancing coaching excellence through education, innovation, licensing, and consistent technical standards across all WMF member federations.
The WMF Technical Committee is responsible for the strategic development and standardisation of coaching within the World Minifootball Federation. It develops coach education programmes, implements consistent evaluation systems, promotes innovation and supports the professional growth of coaches at all levels, contributing to the integrity, fairness, safeguarding and continuous development of minifootball worldwide.
The Committee organises coach education and performance evaluation through structured licensing systems (N, B and A Licences), develops theoretical and practical assessment standards, manages the international coach database, reviews technical methodologies and age-category guidelines, conducts video analysis of coaching practices, promotes specialisation modules in goalkeeping, physical preparation and sports technology, implements strict ethical and Safeguarding policies, coordinates certifications with Continental and National Federations, ensures consistency in coaching principles across member associations, and supports federations with educational materials and expert instruction.
Main Responsibilities
- Organise coach education, training, and performance evaluation through structured licensing systems (N, B, and A Licenses).
- Develop theoretical and practical assessment standards and tests for candidates across all levels.
- Manage and update the international coach database and accreditation records.
- Review and update technical methodologies, age-category development guidelines, and tacticalframeworks
- Conduct video analysis and performance evaluation of coaching methodologies to support continuous improvement
- Promote specialization modules, including goalkeeping, physical preparation, and technology insports
- Implement strict ethical guidelines and Safeguarding policies to protect minor athletes and ensure a safe sporting environment
- Coordinate coaching certifications and equivalences in collaboration with Continental and National Federations
- Encourage consistency in tactical understanding and coaching principles across all member federations
- Support member federations through educational materials, course logistics, and expert instruction.
