The Highest Decision-Making Body of the WMF
The WMF General Assembly brings together representatives of the World Minifootball Federation’s member associations to discuss and decide on key matters concerning the organisation, governance, and future development of minifootball.
As the principal decision-making forum of the Federation, the General Assembly provides members with the opportunity to participate in the strategic direction of the WMF, address important organisational matters, and contribute to the continued growth of the sport worldwide.
Through dialogue, cooperation, and collective decision-making, the General Assembly strengthens transparency, representation, and unity across the global WMF community.
Role & Responsibilities
- Reviews and decides on key matters concerning the governance and development of the WMF.
- Provides member associations with representation in the Federation’s decision-making process.
- Reviews statutory, organisational, and regulatory matters.
- Considers membership matters and the admission of new member associations.
- Supports the election and appointment processes of WMF governing bodies where applicable.
- Reviews reports, proposals, and strategic initiatives presented to the General Assembly.
- Promotes transparency, accountability, and cooperation among WMF members.
- Supports the long-term development and international growth of minifootball.

An important part of the General Assembly is the continued development of the WMF membership network. The admission and recognition of new member associations strengthens the Federation’s international presence and creates new opportunities for cooperation, competition, education, and development.
The expansion of the WMF community reflects the growing international interest in minifootball and supports the Federation’s goal of building a stronger and more connected global network.
The World Minifootball Federation brings together 74 national teams from around the world, reflecting the continued growth and international reach of minifootball.
