Major events postponed
Even though in many countries around the world the situation with the fight against pandemic caused by COVID-19 there are signs of loosening the restrictive measures, there are still different dynamics in borders opening and possibilities for travel.
This naturally hampers the smooth organization of international events such as the WMF World Cup U23 and Continental Cups.
The Executive Committee of WMF brought a decision that the WMF World Cup U23 will be postponed until 2021.
As for continental cups – the decision will be announced not later than July 1st, 2020.
The decision about the WMF World Cup and WMF Women’s World Cup on behalf of the WMF Executive Committee will be announced shortly.
