Vitthal Shirgaonkar is Vice-President of the World Minifootball Federation, representing Asia, and a founding member of the federation. Based in India, he has been instrumental in growing minifootball across the continent, working closely with national federations and grassroots organizations to expand the sport’s reach.
Vitthal has led major youth development initiatives, including securing minifootball’s inclusion in India’s official School Sports Program in partnership with the School Game Federation of India, and announcing the launch of the WMF Kids World Cup to engage the next generation of players. He has also played a key role in promotion and outreach for WMF events across Asia, including the Asian Minifootball Championship, helping introduce the sport to new communities and a growing base of young athletes.
