Are the results of the second day enough to predict what will U23 teams do till the end of the WMF WC?
As the second day went by, we need to keep our patience and predict wisely. Friday 13th was lucky some, it seems. The weekend will give insight into the glimpse of who the winners in the finals might be.
In a very good game, Colombia wins against Georgia with a result of 5:3. The lead that they took promptly during the game, didn’t drop until the very end. There was an excellent performance from player No. 11 – Gilberto Junior Himenez Molina who scored 3 goals. Georgia showed that they were a very good squad and that with the development of the international experience, they don’t have to worry about their future.
Slovakia and Moldova played a very tough game, that’s why we had for the first time in this WC result 0:0. Very good defense per both sides and less luck in some situations did not give us the pleasure to see a goal. This complicated a bit the rank in this group now and in the last round will give us who will go to the semi-final.
Another fantastic match between Ukraine and Egypt, whereas in the very uncertain final Ukraine scored a point that decided the outcome with 3:2.
Hosts reached 3 points after the rocky start. Both teams have a chance to move further on the ladder, and their positions will be clear after the last round.
