The updated WMF governance structure for better results
In 2020, despite the world crisis caused by COVID-19, WMF continued to work in cooperation with its members to deliver its Strategic Plan.
With this support of the General Assembly given previously, the efforts to continue with the governance structure, aiming to keep on strengthening and developing WMF member federations, promoting and protecting WMF’s brand, and providing more value and resources to WMF members, are still the core activity in 2020.
Therefore, the right people on the right positions needed to be delegated, in order to deliver results based on the true experience, so now we have:
Mr. Kevin Milliken, USA, as a Chairman of Marketing committee
Mr. Pablo Melgar, Guatemala, as a Chairman of the Development committee
Mrs. Kaouther Belhadj Mohamed, as a Development committee member in charge of women development
The updated governance structure will strengthen WMF’s position as the governing body of Minifootball globally and streamline daily WMF activity to ensure good governance, administrative efficiency and continued development of the sport, this time with an emphasis on women as well.
WMF will continue to execute new and existing development initiatives with the aim of increasing participation and improving the quality of the game worldwide.
