WMF Referee Seminar Concludes Successfully in Dubai
The Asian Minifootball Confederation-ANMC hosted by the UAE Minifootball Federation, successfully held a WMF Referee Seminar in Dubai.
The training program aimed to develop top-level minifootball referees and was led by Mr. Afgan Hamzayev, a member of the WMF Referee Committee and an experienced instructor.
Participants from various countries completed an intensive schedule of theoretical lessons, practical training, and fitness tests, demonstrating the region’s commitment to international refereeing standards.
Reflecting on the seminar, Mr. Hamzayev said:
“I am incredibly happy and honored to have been part of the WMF International Referees Seminar in Dubai, UAE.
As a member of the WMF Referee Committee, I want to give a huge thanks to the WMF and the Head of our Committee for their trust, leadership, and support in organizing this event. This seminar was especially important because it was our first big step with the new Committee.

The UAE Minifootball Federation was instrumental in the smooth running of the event, and Mr. Saeed Al Ajil, President of the UAE Minifootball Federation and Vice President & Executive Committee Member of the Asian Minifootball Confederation, shared his thoughts:

This milestone reflects the strong commitment of our global and regional partners to advance the standards of Minifootball, especially in referee education and performance. The Dubai seminar, dedicated to referees from West Asia, marked an important first step for the World Minifootball Federation in strengthening referee education and development across the continent. The next seminar, to be held in Indonesia, will focus on referees from East Asia, continuing WMF’s mission to raise the standards and professionalism of minifootball officiating worldwide.
