Wins of tight differences during the third day of WMF U23 World Cup
Teams are wormed up and doesn’t let the opponent win in a meantime between team strikes.
This was the day of decision and now we know who goes further to show their craft during the last day of the Cup.
Attacks and counterattacks, free hugs, colorful jerseys, and nice weather keep our attention glued to the screens showing outcomes.
Here’s what the guys made of today:
Another smashing match in which the Georgian men’s team defeated India 7:0. Georgia decided the game in the first half, winning 3:0.
The Ukraine national team played a match against Slovakia. A smooth first half ended in a 0:0 draw.
The second half was dominated by Slovakia and counter-attacks from Ukraine. But both teams failed to open the scoring. The result of the match was 0:0.
There was also a match between the Moldovan and Egyptian men’s teams. In the first half, the goalkeeper opened the scoring. The Moldovan player had no chance against his opponent with a long-range shot.
Egypt seized the initiative in the second half to level the score on 30 minutes, and a minute later the Egyptians took the lead.
The Moldovan team dominated at the end of the match but failed to score. Egypt beat Moldova 2:1.
The last match on Saturday was the meeting between the Czech Republic and Colombia men’s teams. The nominal visitors took the lead as early as the second minute. Eight minutes later, Colombia doubled their lead thanks to a free kick. Nevertheless, the Czech Republic did not give up and scored two goals, tying the score in the first half. The Czech Republic, however, did not give up, scoring two goals in the first half. 4:2. In the second half, the teams continued to score. First Colombia made it 5:2, but the Czech Republic scored twice more to make it 5:4.
And in the final seconds of the match, the Czech Republic evened the score with a penalty kick 5:5.
