Kyiv Hosts the Annual WMF General Assembly
The Annual General Assembly of the World Minifootball Federation has taken place today in Kyiv.
At the meeting in the capital city of Ukraine, it is adopted the amendments to the WMF Statute, Vice-Presidents and new members of the Executive Committee are elected, and the WMF family welcomed several new members. The Report of the Executive Committee, as well as the WMF Annual Report, Plan of Action and 2018-2019 Budget, are also approved.
The new Vice-Presidents and at the same time new members of the Executive Committee are elected. They are:
– Sergio Del Rio (Mexico) – WMF Vice-President (also President of the PAMF), proposed by Kevin Milliken (USA)
– Achraf Ben Salha (Tunisia) – WMF Vice-President (also President of the African Confederation)
– Peter Kralik (Slovakia) – WMF Vice-President, proposed by European Minifootball Federation
– Vitthal Shirgaonkar (India) – WMF Vice-President
– Borislav Aleksandrov (Bulgaria)
– Kevin Milliken (USA)
– Elkhan Asadov (Azerbaijan)
The World Miniffotball Federation has become richer with the reception of new members.
The new full members are:
– Albania (Albanian Amateur Minifootball Association)
– Indonesia (Indonesian Minifootball Federation)
– Lebanon (Lebanese Minifootball Federation)
– Bosnia and Herzegovina (Association for the promotion of Minifootball and recreation)
– Spain (Spanish Association of Minifootball)
This is a list of new provisional members:
– Chinese Taipei (Chinese Taipei Minifootball Association)
– Colombia (Colombia Association of Minifootball)
– Costa Rica (Minifootball League Sports Association)
– Singapore (Association Minifootball Singapore)
Three new confederations have become affiliated members:
– African Minifootball Confederation
– Asian Minifootball Confederation
– Oceania Minifootball Federation
The third edition of the WMF World Cup, which will be held in Perth, Australia, next year, was also presented. An important news is that 32 countries will participate in the competition, instead of 24, decided by the WMF Executive Committee the day before the General Assembly.
