The WMF General Assembly brought new decisions and perspectives
On the 23rd of October 2021 starting at 3 PM CEST, WMF General Assembly was held online, in order to review and adopt the reports from the previous year and present the business and strategic plan for the forthcoming year.
After the technical conditions were fulfilled, the President of WMF Mr. Filip Juda provided a detailed review of the previous fiscal period and after the adoption of the reports, he presented the WMF Plan of action for 2022.
Some of the postulates for the future will be the investment of efforts to strengthen the governance structure, opening of hosting applications for WMF events, improving educational programs for referees and coaches, upgrading conditions for WMF competitions, and raising the frequency of competitions worldwide, focusing on active minifootball rather than on the development of gaming in the field of sport.
The General Assembly granted the status of provisional members to Ecuador, Gabon, Democratic Republic of Congo, Iran, Netherlands, Zambia, Chile, Nigeria
And full membership status to Brazil, Guatemala, Great Britain, Thailand.
Minifootball family proves its resilience in these hardened times for the work on an international level and keeps the will to pursue the development strategy from a grassroots to the top level.
